The hiring company is a leading international financial services group with global headquarters in Toronto and operate across offices in Canada, Asia, and Europe.
Role Context
The position is to join the ASC ASIA APM team and build to be a Center of Competence as well as being able to fulfil the different ASC ASIA APM responsibilities.
- Lead the onboarding of the different applications which were not onboarded before to APM
- Setup basic dashboards for the apps after the initial onboarding to APM
- Setup Threshold and alerts (basic) and app specific/required alerts
- Responsible to address any APM related issues. Coordinating with the different app teams to get the details and work with our count parts and vendors as needed.
- Ensure APM agent upgrades are planned and carried out to keep the agents at a current version
- Responsible for any APM related adhoc requests from the application teams.
- Ensuring continuous growth of expertise of self and other ASIA ASC APM team members to be able to establish an APM Center of competence.
Ideal Candidate
- Candidate should have at least 2 years experience working with an Application Performance Monitoring tool. Having experience with Digital Experience Insights (DXI), formerly Broadcom CA,will be a big advantage.
- Should have experience (2 years) in onboarding application into the APM tool
- Should have experience (2 years) in creating dashboards and alerting schemed.
- Has good communication skills. Having atleast 1 years experience working directly with business, client or user.
- Has good analytic and problem solving skills. If candidate has any certified trainings related to this it will be a plus.
- Candidate having experience working / installing directly to the servers or have an in and out know how would be a plus.
