Role Context
As a Front-end Developer, you will play a pivotal role in building intuitive and responsive user interfaces for our web applications. Your primary focus will be on utilizing your strong expertise in Vanilla JavaScript to create seamless and efficient code that powers the front-end functionality of our products. You’ll collaborate closely with our UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and other team members to turn design mockups and wireframes into functional and performant web pages.
Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features using Vanilla JavaScript and other front-end technologies.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them with pixel-perfect precision.
- Optimize application code for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and other team members to integrate front-end and back-end functionalities seamlessly.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development, including JavaScript frameworks and libraries, to continuously improve our development processes and deliver better user experiences.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Front-end Developer with a strong focus on Vanilla JavaScript.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive web design principles.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
